Data used
Ling uses your language, level, goal, interests, pace, and correction preferences to personalize sessions. For an account, email is encrypted and the password is stored only as a cryptographic hash. NotiSend receives the destination email and service-message content for verification and password recovery. Guest settings can remain in this browser.
Microphone and speech recognition
The microphone starts only after you press the voice button. In browser mode, recognition is provided by your browser or operating system. Ling does not store the original audio recording on your device.
Your control
You can clear the current session, remove the local profile, or clear site data in browser settings.
Delete local profile and progress
This only affects Ling data in this browser and cannot be undone.
